Our Interviews with other Halloween-type people continue and will pick up some steam over the next months - there are more andmore self-confessed "freaks" coming out of the woodwork. We'll post them here for your enjoyment!

This month we chat with Les Vallevand who has been running a home-haunt for the last several years in North Edmonton

Bloody the Clown Welcomes you!

Can you tell everyone who you are?
First of all, I'd like to thank you for this opportunity to be mentioned on HalloweenEdmonton.com. My name is Les Vallevand, however for the month of October I go by "Bloody The Clown"
He he he, Bloody the Clown, gotta lova that. And you're welcome. HalloweenEdmonton.com is all about people like you.
How would you describe Bloody's Halloween spirit?
I find myself to be very passionate about halloween, in the sense that I want to create more things that scare and gross people out!
So, into the blood, guts and gore? I'm assuming that would be the genre that you'd fit into?
I think the particular genre that best describes what I do would be bloody! The bloodier and more realistic it is the better!
So, besides being Bloody the Clown, anything else that you specialize in regarding Halloween?
I tend to lean towards making moveable props. Whether it be through pnuematics (air), or by electric motors. I believe this gives my haunt a more realistic and frightning presence!
Is it just you and the props that make up your home haunt?
It's the actors that have helped me in the past, that make it all come together. Without their screaming, crying, and bleeding, it would never be as popular as it has become!
I know, being an Scare-actor myself, that it takes a bunch of people to do it well. But what made you decide on this direction?
The reason I have gone this way, is because I believe the more realistic and surprising it is, the more people want to see whats around the next corner!
I could not have said better myself.
Do you have any websites that you frequent?
I think my favorite related website has to be boneyardbargains.ca

...to be continued...
